Goals help you make right decisions every time you come across a choice. Many choices, which may seem attractive while seen with a short term view, may not be right in the long term. For example, it may seem better to continue to focus and develop depth in your own field and may be rewarding as well, but if you are looking to become part of the Leadership, having a diversified experience is a more beneficial approach in the long term.
